College of Global Change and Earth System Science is an entitative research institution and Institutions of Postgraduates Fostering independently established by Beijing Normal University. At the preliminary stage, there would be about 10 research team and a number of visiting researchers, according to the strategy of our College. Each research team should include one chief scientist, 2 senior researchers and 2 general researchers.
College of Global Change and Earth System Science is qualified to confer Ph.D. and M.S. degree, combined with a Post-doctoral Stations. By taking full use of the multi-disciplinary advantage of Beijing Normal University, We can establish multi-disciplinarily interactive model for talent fostering, taking the geography, ecology, Atmospheric Sciences, Environmental Science as foundation, in the way of Fundamental Mathematics, Theoretical Physics, Systems Science, Computational Science and Social Science (Economics)
