1、China Scholarship Council (CSC) Scholarships

       QUT and the China Scholarship Council (CSC) jointly award postgraduate scholarships to Chinese students who intend to undertake a postgraduate research degree at QUT.

Eligibility for CSC Scholarships

      • Candidates must be international students who are citizens and permanent residents of the People's Republic of China.
       • Candidates must be resident in China and not be currently working or studying abroad.
       • Successful candidates must return to China upon completion of their studies and/or research.
       • Candidates must apply for a Doctor of Philosophy, Master's by Research (one-year program only), or Professional Doctorate.
       • Candidates must hold an unconditional offer of admission to pursue a postgraduate research degree at QUT. They must therefore fulfil the relevant academic entry requirements, including a high level of English language proficiency: IELTS (academic) or TOEFL.
       • Candidates should be intending to pursue a postgraduate research degree in one of the priority academic areas identified by QUT and CSC. However, other study/research areas may also be considered.

2、 Inaugural International Conference of STEM at QUT

       You are invited to participate and network at the inaugural international conference of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) in Education at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) on Friday 26 and Saturday 27 November 2010.
       The purpose of the STEM in Education Conference is to create opportunities for:
       • information and knowledge sharing through paper/poster presentations, symposia, workshops, and innovative showcases;
       • modelling effective pedagogical practices while enhancing content knowledge;
       • sharing research initiatives and outcomes;
       • professional development for educators in a range of educational contexts;
       • and networking between participants.
       The conference will be capped at 400 participants.
