Abstract

It is an undeniable facts that globalization is greatly changing the style of human’s life and production. In the proceeding of globalization, a worldwide phenomenon of anti-globalization consequently appears. This book tries to answer these following questions: what is the meaning of globalization? Why it results in anti-globalization? Why anti-globalization happens mostly in developed country? What are the leading forces of anti-globalization? Which malpractices globalization results in to the developed country and developing country? How to evaluate globalization and anti-globalization?

The author point out that globalization is the inner needs of capitalist development. The present globalization is the globalization of the leading position of capitalism. It did not wipe off the contradictions of capitalism. On the contrary, it has deepened the existing contradictions of capitalism. Globalization and anti-globalization will inevitably make capitalism head for its destruction.

Anti-globalization reveals people’s resentment and assault of the world contradiction as well as the appalling problems. It also shows that there serious international problems in the preceding of globalization. Anti-globalization has positive as well as negative influence upon the international politics and international economy, in the sense of that when it helps to rethink globalization and its malpractice, resolve the problems caused by globalization, and build a new international order for the future; it also brings irrationality, violence and terrorism.

Globalization likes a two-side sword. It brings chances and challenges to the developed country and developing country. It has not only pushed the free movement and reasonable allocations of global resources, but also increased the international competition and risk. Every country or area should take an active part in globalization, make the best use of situation, and avoid the side effect. From the perspective of international trade, transnational operation, financial freedom, culture, science and technology, environment and etc, this book reveals the challenge of globalization to the developed country and the developing country, and puts forwards countermeasures that can be use in developing country.
